Help for grown-ups
Need a hand? Email hello@quinnandbryn.com and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. It helps to tell us your device (for example “iPad” or “Samsung tablet”) and what happened.
Finding For grown-ups
Tap the small grown-ups button at the top right of the map, then answer the grown-ups check. Everything below starts from there.
The grown-ups check
It asks you to add three small numbers and tap the answer. A wrong answer gives a new sum, and three wrong answers close it. It sits in front of buying, the camera, the play timer and deleting photos.
Restoring your purchase
- Go to For grown-ups > Purchases > Restore.
- Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with.
- On iPhone and iPad, Family Sharing is switched on, so people in your Family Sharing group can use Restore too.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so refunds go through them too:
- App Store: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Google Play refunds
The play timer
Go to For grown-ups > Play timer > Set timer, turn the dial and press Start. When time is up, a “Time’s up!” picture appears and the game pauses. To carry on, tap the padlock and answer the grown-ups check. The timer only counts while the game is on screen.
Easy or Challenging
Switch between them with the Easy / Challenging switch on the home screen, or in For grown-ups > Puzzle level. Easy uses pictures, colours and dots, with help close at hand. Challenging brings in counting and real puzzles.
The camera
- A photobooth opens after your child finishes all the games in a country. It can use the front camera to put your child in the picture with Quinn & Bryn.
- To turn it on: tap the grown-up button in the photobooth, answer the check and choose “Use the camera”. Your device then asks for permission.
- To turn it off: For grown-ups > Photos. Without the camera, the photo shows Quinn & Bryn on their own.
- If you said no to the device’s camera question and want it back, allow the camera for Quinn & Bryn in your device’s Settings.
Deleting photos
Go to For grown-ups > Photos > Delete photobooth photos. Photos never leave your device. To remove everything (progress, settings and photos), uninstall the app; your purchase can be restored afterwards.
Music
Turn it on or off in For grown-ups > Music.
What you need
- Android 7.0 or later, on phones and tablets.
- iPhone or iPad with iOS 15 or later.
The game plays offline. It only needs the internet to buy or restore the full game.
